Yeah, it's expensive, but it is worth it. We have the Vidalia Charcoal and Gas Grill Model 983. This is really a commercial grade grill made from aircraft quality aluminum; the guts are all heavy duty stainless steel. I love it. Ever since my wife convinced me to give up my Weber charcoal grill and switch to a gas grill, I have regretted it. Not anymore. I just gave away my $700 five burner Kenmore, I just plain hated it. I could not get the thing to cook consistently at 400 degrees - a must if you are trying to get the skin to crisp up. And it was impossible to cook indirectly or to properly smoke food. But, not this baby. I have a hard time adjusting it down to 400 degrees. We've had ours about a week and we have cooked on it every night: whole chicken, turkey tenderloins, hamburgers and a leg of lamb.
